Virginia Nipe Keller

(July 4, 1925 - October 17, 2012)

Virginia N. Keller, 87, of Carneys Point, NJ died peacefully in her home and entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Virginia was born in Salem County and lived there her entire life. The daughter of Ralph and Mary (Van Leer) Nipe, Virginia graduated from Penns Grove High School . She worked in Jackson Labs at DuPont as a buyer for over forty years before retiring in 1987.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 42 years, Eli Keller, her brother Melvin Nipe and her sister-in-law, Lee Nipe.

Virginia was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in Carneys Point, NJ. She loved the Lord. She faithfully read her well-worn bible and prayed every day. She also taught Sunday School for many years and supported many missionaries with her financial support, prayers and hospitality. Virginia enjoyed reading, spending time with friends and traveling around the world. 

She is survived by her church family at Calvary, many close friends, her neighbors, Helen and Richard Villec and their daughters Kimberly and Suzanne, Margaret and Steven Willard and their sons Aaron, Jacob and Jesse, a niece, Valerie Williams of Alabama, and numerous cousins. 

Services will be on Saturday, October, 20th, at Calvary Baptist Church in Carneys Point, NJ. There will be a time of greeting at 9:00 am and the funeral will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Eglington Memorial Gardens in Clarksboro, NJ. There will be a luncheon at the church following the interment. Donations in her memory may be made to New Tribes Missions, 1000 E. First Street, Sanford, FL 32771
